What’s new

  • 1-9-16 – Happy New Year! Well, it has been a long time since we updated this page. Our New Years resolution this year is to keep this page updated! We hope all of you are doing well as we have been staying pretty busy over the years. We have added some machinery as well as a salesman that is on the road full time. Blaine has been with us since May 2015 and has been doing a great job for us. His contact information can be found on our contacts us page. So if anyone needs a new mold, repairs, revisons, or PM’s to any existing molds you can contact Blaine or call PMG directly. We can also do general machine work, wire and ram EDM work as well. We would love to hear from any of you out there! PMG would like to wish everyone out there the best of luck in 2016!!
  • 1-3-11 – We would like to congratulate John Richmond for becoming the new head of our bench department. John has done an excellent job since coming on board and has proven to be a tremendous asset to our team. We wish John the best of luck in his new position. We know he will do a great job.
  • 12-20-10 – ProMold-Gauer is very excited to welcome Mike Forsyth to our team. Mike is coming on board as our Engineering Manager. Mike has 35 years of experience in the plastics industry. Mike has held many positions in his career, such as Product Designer, Project Engineer, Production Manager, Director of Engineering and Director of R & D. He has also received numerous patents and co-patents for the Medical, Consumer and Packaging Products industries. Mike has also worked for us in the past and we are very excited to have him back. Welcome back Mike!
  • 7-5-10 – ProMold-Gauer would like to welcome John Richmond to our team. John will also be joining us in our bench department. John is a very experienced polisher, fitter, assembler, and welder. We are very excited to have John on our team, we are certain he will be a tremendous asset to ProMold-Gauer.
  • 6-21-10 – ProMold-Gauer would like to welcome Ed Fox to our team. He will be joining us in our bench department. Ed has been in the mold trade for many years and is experienced in all aspects of the job. He is also experienced at welding steel and aluminum. We are very happy to have Ed on our team, we are sure he will be a great asset to ProMold-Gauer.
  • 4-19-10 – ProMold-Gauer would like to welcome Cheryl Strunk to our team. Cheryl will fill the office manager’s position. We all wish Cheryl the best of luck in her new position! We are certain she will be a great asset to our team.
  • 4-12-10 – We would like to welcome Fred Long back to the ProMold-Gauer team. Fred was our original wire EDM person. He has been gone for several years and we are very excited to have Fred back. Fred’s ability to write his own programs and the very efficient manner which Fred approaches his job will definitely make ProMold-Gauer a stronger team. Welcome back Fred!!
  • 12-16-09 – We would like to welcome Mike Somerville back to the ProMold-Gauer team. Mike had left ProMold a few years back and we feel very fortunate to have Mike return. Mike is a very accomplished EDM operator and is skilled in many other areas as well. Mikes various skills and his attention to detail will make ProMold-Gauer a much stronger company and we are very excited to have him back.
  • 10-12-09 – ProMold-Gauer would like to welcome Bill Wolford to our team. Bill will be joining us as our newest salesperson. Bill owned his own business and has an extensive background in general machining. Among other things, Bill will be working on bringing in more general machining and production work to our company. We feel very lucky to have Bill on our team and we wish him the best of luck in his new position!
  • 7-22-09 – Congratulations to the Springfield Pioneers! They finished with an 18-1 record this year and were the league champions. We hope everyone involved, from the kids to the parents and coaches, had fun this year. Great Job!!
  • 6-19-09 – ProMold-Gauer would like to wish Rene Muckensturm the best of luck in all his future endeavors. Rene is retiring after 23 years of service. Thanks for all your hard work over all those years!! Good Luck Rene!
  • 4-18-09 – We would like to welcome Bill McClure to the ProMold-Gauer family. He will be primarily working as a programmer but will also be able to help out in design as needed. Bill has 25 years of experience in the trade and will make a great addition to our team. We wish Bill the best of luck at his new job!
  • 4-18-09 – ProMold-Gauer would like to congratulate Ralph Shelton for accepting our Plant Manager’s position. Ralph is currently the head of the programming department and has been with the organization for 18 years. We know Ralph will do a great job and we wish him the best of luck at his new position!
  • 4-18-09 – ProMold-Gauer would like to congratulate Joe Dick for accepting our Head of Programming position. He will be taking Ralph Shelton place in that department. Joe has been to Cimatron classes twice and has 23 years of experience in trade. Joe has been with the organization for 5 years. We know Joe will do a great job and we wish him the best of luck at his new position!
  • 4-11-09 – Congratulations goes out to our apprentice mold designer, Andrew Katich. He has received the Mechanical Engineering Technology Distinguished Student Award from Kent State University. This award is given to the outstanding student of the year. Andrew is going to graduate with an Associate of Mechanical Engineering Technology and Associate of Science degrees. He has already attended 2 classes of training for Cimatron in Basic Cad Training and Mold Design Training. We are very excited to have Andrew on our team and expect great things from him in the future. Congratulations Andrew!!
  • 4-3-09 – ProMold-Gauer is sponsoring the Springfield Pioneers youth baseball team, age group 9 and 10 year olds. They were the Tournament Champions in 2007, hopefully they can repeat that again this year. We wish them the best of luck and have fun!
  • 4-1-09 – ProMold-Gauer received a plaque to celebrate 25 years of membership to the National Tooling & Machining Association.
  • 3-27-09 – ProMold-Gauer would like to wish Tony Heyden the best of luck in all his future endeavors. He is retiring after 28 years of service. Thanks for all your hard work Tony!
